Who won? I left without checking. I've been slightly bored with it during the Schumacher days but the last round i thought was much better. Now its back on the beeb it'll be better to watch but am not sure why they want to tamper with the scoring system
I'm not a fan, but my understanding is that due to rule changes the car designs are different this season, which presently means it's been turned on its' head.
McLaren and Ferrari will no longer be dominant and Brawn are looking tops. The others are appealing so that whoever wins, won't know the result will stand until after the enquiry.
According to my mate who works for Bridgestone, Toyota are looking like they have a outside chance. I'm looking forward to this season, should be interesting as long as there isn't one driver that wins the first six races.
Just shows that it's not about the drivers but about the cars. A year ago Hamilton was the man to beat in practice and in the races, now because his car isn't as good as his rivals he's placed nowhere. Meanwhile all the teams that don't have this rear diffuser thingy are crying foul. The days when F1 was about the skill of the driver have gone, what type of sport is decided by who can change the tyres and refuel the fastest?
I feel the same way about formula 1 as most of the posters on here feel about American Football. I don't like it, it bores me and I don't see the point to it.
That said, if other people enjoy it - good luck to 'em. It baffles the shit out of me when the blokes in the office go on about it, but to each his own!
Agree Leroy. What is all the fuss about. Would be bette or more fair if there was a pool of cars and drivers drew lots for which car before the race. As it stands best car wins regardless of driver.

Or that they have the same engine etc, that would sort the flag waving tax-exiles out from the real drivers.

Yes, it's clearly all about the cars. So how Hamilton got from 18th to third in one of the slowest cars around will remain a mystery forever more... ;-)
Fantastic race - so delighted for Jenson. Nine years since he was the great new hope!

There's no question Hamilton did brilliantly but he did rely on Vettel and Kubica having a needless crash 3 laps from the end. Normally though, the best car (not the best driver) wins. If it's down to the driver then what has Button been doing all these years? Where was Alonso last year after he left McLaren? There are exceptions though and Schumacher could've won in pretty much any car he was given.
Must admit I quite enjoyed the race this time around - it seems the rule changes etc have made it quite entertaining....for now anyway....no doubt the big boys will get up to speed with their perception of the new rules soon enough and will return to dominance once more.
Enjoyable race, the whole re-design of car thing was to aid overtaking & it has improved although not significantly on yesterday's showing. Still a Brit one in a car built in Britain with an engine built in Britain FACT. Well done Lewis our other Brit massive effort from 18th to 3rd .

What will also remain a mystery is why Honda/Button & Barrichello were placed well down the grid over the last couple of seasons when their car was marginally faster than a milkfloat.
Clearly new management/ownership has worked wonders...

Honda realised early on that their cars were sh*t last season, so they put all their efforts (& money) into developing the cars for this season

I'm going to Kuala Lumpur for the GP next weekend so hoping for a better race than last year's.
Good qualifying session. Nice to see the likes of McLaren/Ferrari/Renault not being up the front as usual.
