Or take a pan of boiling water, season heavily with salt & vinegar then break in 2 eggs and gently stir until cooked. Drain well and serve on toast drizzled with HP Sauce

    Cheese

    Eggs (scrambled or poached)

    Marmite

Toast should be done to the point of being nearly burnt. Lots of butter.

generous drizzle of vodka with an even more generous sprinkle of marching powder - that's not just any toast, that's M&S toast.

Breakfast of champions - or so my Mum says.

In technical terms, is it toaster to go?
    Or toaster followed by grill?
    Or simply grill?
    Or horses for courses?

Personally for cheese on toast for example, it's toaster while electric grill warms up and cheese sliced, then all on the grill. But for marmalade you can skip the grill section.

Probably answered my own question...it's mix and match.

    Marmite

    Cheese

    Butter

But only butter when the toast cools, can't stand soggy floppy toast, and I want to taste the butter as well.
