[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]Frankly I'm amazed people allow themselves to be exploited to such a degree.
If they simply didn't frequent these rip-off dens then prices would come down to a more reasonable level.
There speaks an Old Git!!
I haven't been back since!
I love Sundays is a 2 day rave and you're allowed to leave and return once in order to sleep and wash, or in our case to get a quick bite! When we went back in a guy ripped off our the wrist bands with a knife in split a second, which was quite scary. The check they did on when I first got in was basically only for weapons.
And not even going to mention anything that happened at manumission!
We went Cream @ Amnesia a couple of years back at left at 6am. Everybody had spent all the money they had on them and we had to walk back to San Antonio.....took 4 hours. Havent been back since either!
[cite]Posted By: Chris_from_Sidcup[/cite]Ketman - what clubs charge €60?
I'm going out on Saturday for a week. I've always seen Space as the most expensive club and our ticket for We love Sunday was €50 which includes a drink. So effectively entry is 'only' really €35-40.
Most of the Clubs are €60-50 Euros on the night if tickets not bought in advance, good discounts to be had if you buy from a store or shop though.
In the West End the Bar Hush had some good DJ's on most nights, plus the best sound system in my humble opinion. Bora Bora was dead during the week, but it's usual self at weekends.

Bora Bora
My mate's brother (Alex Miles, doesn't quite have the same ring as DJ Ketman does it!) DJs there.
I went as a fresh faced youngster in 1988 and can say that I spent about £50 the whole week....that said, there was only one club then (can't remember the name) and all the action was around San Antonio....which (looking back today as a scarily close to 40 year old) was a pit, but seemed great fun at the time... Am sure the women wore more clothes then too...altho could just be cos I always repelled (repulsed?) them....
Would like to go back, but would be as one of the families that sits outside a bar watching all the 'young people' have fun....
Ketman - have heard that a lot of people are giving Bora bora a miss this year due to the drinks prices and going to other nearby beach parties like Sands, Delano and Ushaia, is that true?
My lads ( twins) are going as a pre 21 birthday bash with a dozen other mates, quite a few Charlton supporters with them, When they told me one of there mates was taking £25000 as spending money for a week, I thought he was knocking me for some cash!
Cannot blame him went to Ibiza myself as a student on the 2nd year Club 18/30 was around, the only holiday I came back from abroad whiter than before I went!

Made them leave the bank cards at home![/quote
Ken - I hope that's £2500 spending money and not £25,000!
Whoops yes £2,500 ....... good job I did not wire them the money... I would want to buy the club for £25,000 which when I went you probably could have, just to show my age......

I wonder if they have a pensioners night!
Half price on Tuesdays, Ken .......... providing you have your own teeth.
[cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]Frankly, I'd rather fist my own arse with a studded glove before getting fucked by a freight train than go to Ibiza.
Sun, sea, great clubs, quality music, scantily clad females. And if you're not going for the clubbing there are actually some really nice beaches and restaurants on the island. But you'd rather stay at home and play with your glove!

Will post some more pics shortly..
At a lot of the gigs I do now, I'm lucky if most of the women have their own teeth!

;o)
Say what you mean :-)
That wouldn't be my choice.
Faced with yours, I might just be able to tough it out in Ibiza.
I'd have to!

No doubt you are correct but I'll take the glove option rather than go to Ibiza.
You're back!! We thought you were lost behind a taxi rank!!
