Whereas if you wait and take a job higher up it seems like you have a career bouncing around teams for life.

Are points one and two not the same achievement? He didn’t have a 56 match unbeaten run and a separate 49 match run, did he?

Also, unless he’s much older than I thought, I’m certain he never scored in a World Cup final for England.

He's lost the plot hasn't he? firstly when he felt he had the right to claim a top tier job and now this, laughing stock. I doubt this will do him any good in his fight for a decent manager role....
