I've got one of those too.

If my maths is correct we are £10 away from having enough for both a home and away shirt and that's without the offers of top ups from £10 to £20 and Oohahh's very generous but slightly annoying offers of money if and when. Would make life easier if you just said £40 or whatever TBH.

Keep posting pledges as well can aim either for a third shirt or some other prize such as stuff from the shop or even a CL Valley Gold membership to help the youth team.

I've just had the tennis court re-laid so put me down for £10
  • £10 from me as well.
  • As of 10.53 Friday we now have enough for both a home and away shirt without the offers to top up to £20.

With the offers of top ups to £20 with have another £160.

    Do we

    1. Stop now and sponsor do the two shirts

    2. Carry on and see if we can reach three shirts by using the top up offers and any new pledges that come in.

It's been less than 24 hours so others may still want to be involved.

If we don't reach enough for another shirt should money be used elsewhere (Demelza, Valley Gold, etc) but those people's names still go in the hat for the draw?
  • I like the VG idea myself.
  • 2. Carry on a bit, like you say, only been 24 hours.
  • Carry on - have only just seen this.

Put me down for the £10/£20 option.

Mind you, am still waiting for shorty to deliver my "winnings" from last year!
  • Add me for the £10 or £20 with the money going to Valley Gold if not enough is raised for the 3rd shirt
  • We'll be able to buy a player at this rate !
  • I'm ok for £10 if needed.

  • I'm liking the Valley Gold idea for any extra - if we win something that can go to Demelza.

I too like the Valley Gold idea as it helps the youth and the Demelza idea is good too.

A half serious half joking observation though. Valley Gold members have first dibs on away tickets so who would get the CL entitlement?

Exactly where I got it from!
  • As I have only met with one lifer up to now, will someone arrange a meet to collect pennies in the oak/bartrams/lib club or something?
Or another way to get the money to you

I'll collect in the Lib and introduce you to other Lifers.
  • With a name like that, doubt many of the ladies will bother ;-)
  • £10/£20 option from us.
