  • calm down shelvey, were already f..ked. aint gonna help
  • We always struggle against Boothroyd teams FACT

    What about Brentford?[/quote]

As things stand Brentford are 16th!
  • [cite]Posted By: seth plum[/cite]Boothroyd does well actually, marshals his resources well as their new manager

Typical Boothoyd style of play - We never did anything against his Watford side, one of those managers with the evil eye over us
  • The only thing positive thing BBC have reported is the early Addick's support.

Colchester clearly played "hoof it" but it worked and we've been shown up. "More than good value for the 3 points" says the commentator as Shelvey gets booked.
  • Lisbie misses open goal
  • Lisbie misses an open goal
  • lisbie misses open goal

Yes but when we played them they were 6th, and they're 10th now
  • Five at home, five away, 23 points when 20 would be good enough....even if we lose at leeds it is not not a disaster, but we will then need to beat Oldham at home, maybe Parkinson now has a bit of a challenge for the first time this season....it matters how he reacts because this result will not pass without notice thats for sure.
  • I'll leave it to you guys.
    Leeds here I come

    couldn't agree more
  • OK, lets cope with the misery, and lets react well Parkinson!!
  • Well it had to come to an end sooner or later.

Hey ho - it's a long way to go and a reality check to us all that this league is not a walkover.

    Keep the Faith - LLLABH!
  • Big job to pick up the team for Leeds

  • luckily other results have not had much impact......regroup, put it to history and move on.......still up there
  • Sounds like it just wasn't our day, and Colchester played well.

Be interesting to see how we line up on Saturday, no need to panic, and there aren't loads of options any way. Changing the team too much won't help.
  • [cite]Posted By: seth plum[/cite]OK, lets cope with the misery, and lets react well Parkinson!!

    Amen to that !!!!!

Yes but when we played them they were 6th

and when we played wycombe they were joint top.
  • Leeds 1-1 FT
  • Manager of the Month for September?
  • Makes you wonder if we had rested one or two earlier . I wonder if we would have been stronger
  • Too timid, too slow to sub, too one dimensional, and seem unable to play two upfront....
Now that is a stop press!
  • It's a blow but not as if we were going to go the whole season unbeaten. And neither will Leeds. As long as the Parky and the players respond in the right way we'll be fine.
  • that own goal seemed to condemn us instantly
