Theme tune to the Tour de France coverage on Channel 4 in the 1980s, cleverly weaving Frere Jacques. The original - and in my opinion, the best - TdF theme. Music composed by Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks. RIP, Pete.
Two all time great guitarist/singers .. Live .. Walter Trout & (guesting) Kenny Wayne Shepherd .. reminding me of those long drives back home from the Valley ((:>)
The Beatles. Specifically, all of it. I don't think I've ever owned more than the red and blue albums, a smattering of singles on various compilations, and possibly Revolver. Saw that Yesterday film, and thought I'd give all their albums a try. Bit late in the day, but they are rather good aren't they? Hard to listen through the ears of the day, but the energy of their earlier albums, and the creativity and ideas in their latter albums are something special. So many gems of not heard before. Looking forward to a proper listen and not just through my headphones on the commute

Didn't realise this lot had carried on after their first album years ago. Love this bangin' toon though.
Akkerman, van Leer and co. are on fine form here. Lovely chord progression.
Nnow I know its meaning thanks to the translation
