Nice 2 fingers up to cowell and the pop shite machine but can't help feeling not right about the campaign to get them number one. Rage's whole message was to be indivudal and not follow the crowd and not 'do what they tell you' I love rage always have always will but somthing don't feel right about this

As members of the EU we couldn't bring it back even if we wanted to.
For the record I do not believe in capital punishment anyway but in my view a UK government should be deciding what happens in the UK.

Thanks to the much-maligned Lisbon treaty there is now a mechanism in place for any member state to leave the EU. So the UK government DOES decide what happens in the UK. If the UK government wants capital punishment, it can leave the EU and then introduce it.
