  • sad news.

    Rest in peace.

It' a little disconcerting when people younger than me pass away
  • The Northwich Vics club and fans are in mourning - he managed our club in 2000/2001 and only left as he was offered the coaching directorship at Lincoln.
He saved us from relegation in the first season and got us to the second round of the FA cup (we got beat 3-2 in extra time in a replay at Orient - would have been White Hart Lane next!).
I don't think I have witnessed a better football coach - he worked hard with our raw talent and turned Gary Fletcher (now Taylor-Fletcher at Blackpool) and Greg Blundell into good league players.
He embraced the local community and would visit the local schools with the players - he also helped with the end of season charity game - the big one - fans against the 1st team (they would stop counting after 10 goals).
A gentleman and excellent coach - we will miss him.
  • Really sad. RIP.
  • The first ever black manager and now after his sad untimely death there is still only one. Ridiculous stat.

People like Keith Alexander only make Sky news when they've died - says everything about today's game.

    RIP Keith.

    RIP Keith.

what does it say about the today's game?
  • Maybe I should have framed it as it says everything about today's media.
  • Totally shocked, read about it in the Metro this morning as I hadn't known of it before and was genuinely upset and choked up.

    RIP Keith.
  • Macc Town won 2-0 away at Hereford today.
    0-2
  • Well done to the Macc's- a fitting tribute.
