  • Whats Pedham Place like playing there tomorrow is it ok?
  • If you don't mind a bit of a drive for a one off then Chartham Park is a lovely course and they do midweek deals normally.
  • Pedham is like an inland links. i really like it but if you're a 'target golf' fan then it may not be your cup of tea. a few blind holes, so if playing for the 1st time buy a course planner. they've had planning issues so facilities are portacabins.
mate played it last week, said was in good nick. beware if it's windy.

Re redmurph. agreed. chartham is a gem of a course.

    playing hever castle on monday.
  • Thanks for info is there showers etc? So must be striaght or your in the do do's so very challenging for me then!!
  • I'm a member at Littlestone. If you want guaranteed perfect greens & none of that temporary malarky, go there. Bit of a schlep but worth it.
  • only ever turned up and played pedham. never had society there so don't know about showers.
Being straight (ooherr missus) will help but there are holes you can open your shoulders.
toughest thing i always find are the 'blind' hard greens and stopping the ball on them.
  • Maybe a LITTLE far for you mate but , I live in Pattaya Thailand, we have about 30 beautiful courses all within about 50 mins- hour. Played and lived here for about seven years now and only had to stop play on two occasions because of the rain.....Err hope that helps. :-)
  • Just got back from a weekend in Portugal - 3 rounds in 3 days and about on average, 3 hours a night sleep .....

    Still recovering now
  • the thought hurts
