  • #132 - Millwall FC have been making Charlton fans interesting since 1905.

    ...but not Millwall fans, apparantly.
  • [cite]Posted By: Groucho78MFC[/cite]#132 - Millwall FC have been making Charlton fans interesting since 1905.

#133 - Millwall fans have been pretending they don't care about Charlton since 1905 but are secretly wetting themselves in excitement at their biggest home game since the war.
  • Ten:

Millwall moved from the Isle of Dogs - where they played at four differenct grounds over 25 years - to The Den in 1910. This means that 2010 is the centenary of the last time Millwall's home games were actually played in Millwall.

By a remarkable coincidence, the number "10" can be said to represent a complete summary of Millwall's list of honours. ("Won-nothing").
  • [cite]Posted By: Mister Windscreen[/cite]When it was first known that Millwall had to leave their beloved Cold Blow Lane, a competition was set to find a name for the new ground, but due to high levels of illiteracy most entries were deemed unacceptable. The remaning three suggestions were:

    The New Den
    Millwalls ground.
    It's over there!

#134 - It was first proposed to call the Toolbox, "The London Stadium."

When by chance Millwall's only educated supporter did a little research, he eventually discovered there were in fact, other stadiums in London. - and was forced to come up with an alternative.

Hence the inspired suggestion of, erm .....The New Den.
  • 7. Apart from Liverpool and Manchester United, Millwall have the highest number of "fans" who have never attended one of their matches.
  • 18.23
Lord Nelson once played for Millwall

Lord Nelson once played for Millwall
Sorry, poor research there. This should have read: "Millwall's previous grounds include the back of the Lord Nelson Pub"
  • 63. Millwall supporters mock their local rivals as trainspotters but recent studies show that the average Millwall fan spends at least 90 minutes per fortnight watchng trains. The New Den has railway lines that run parallel to the east and west stands. The stadium was designed with gaps in the corners so that trains are visible from all parts of the ground. No trains are visible from The Valley.

#3,645 - Millwall do not have, or never have had, any songs that mention Charlton. Whereas Charlton try to wedgie the line "...he f**king hates Millwall" into every single song they've had for a player since that Portugese carthorse.

#3,646 - Millwall find Charltons superiority complex hilarious, yet somewhat bizarre. Lions fans are often of the opinion that if Millwall FC are the yardstick by which fans of other clubs gauge their success, they must have a very bleak outlook for their own club.

#3,647 - Millwall are nowhere near the threat of administration, even if they don't get promoted this year.....or next year.....or the year after.

    whoooooooooooooooooosh
  • 4. Millwall is sh*t cu*ts spelt backwards.
  • Millwall have had their ground closed by the F.A as a punishment following crowd disturbances than any other club in the country. FACT.
  • 5. Charlton is sh*t c*nts spelt forwards.

    Yawn.
  • Groucho - add to #3,645 that they also sing that very cringeworthy build a bonfire song which also includes Millwall.

Don't you also think that this Charlton lot are very similar to Leeds in that they also think any game against them is our cup final! Didn't have Charlton down as being as up their own arses as those muppets from yorkshire!

No doubt they will sing "you're only here for your cup final" whilst most Millwall will be bent double with laughter, pointing to the fact that Charlton have somehow brought one of their biggest away followings to The Den ever, to a game that apparently means much less to them than us!

At least it's a fact, and not gargantuan dogw*nk! Well done i suppose for keeping it 'on-topic'....
  • It does mean something to us & we've taken more this season to games which have meant less. Isn't this the first time you've had a sell out at the new den since you played Arsenal?
  • [cite]Posted By: Sparrows Lane Lion[/cite]Groucho - add to #3,645 that they also sing that very cringeworthy build a bonfire song which also includes Millwall

As opposed to 'Let 'em come' or 'No one likes us'. With those two pieces of shit you should have run out of cringes years ago.

Now ''CAFC CAFC'' on the other hand.......

Your highest home crowd for many, many, many years. Not even our highest away turnout of the season. This is your Cup Final.
  • See I thought #3645 was contradicted by "We laugh at the Charlton fans" which I definitely heard at The Valley.

I trust the Toolbox will also be sold out against Gillingham after you beat us....

  • How do two Millwall fans know what Charlton fans sing at their home games?

Why do two Millwall fans frequent this site when we mean feck all to them?

Why did all the home seats at Senegal Fields sell out within 45 seconds of going on sale?

Why are two Millwall fans getting the hump over a regular thread we make about our next away fixture?
  • Notice how other fans that come on here think the 10 & a half thread is quite entertaining, however the pink lions dont like it. Pwoper Nawty.

Probably because they don't actually get it.

Millwall forums are just full of, f*ck you, no f*ck you, you si, I''ll f*cking cut you etc.

Thats just Stuwall talking to himself!

Im waiting for the ''Its just not funny'' reply from the tool brigade.

Not forgetting the highly original 'Miiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllll', a noise heard at Millwall games primarily because their fans are too thick to remember the words to any others.
  • Addickted

    1) because I have Charlton friends

    2) because a) the other Millwall site I go on has slowed right down, b)was interested to see what you lot are saying about us & the game, c) it helps pass some time at work

    3) they didn't sell out within 45 seconds

    4) I'm not getting the hump at all, just thought a lot weren't particularly funny! Although it is improving.

Would this be your highest away turnout if you were given more tickets?

I think it's great. You lot just seem to have a problem with our responses.

"When the red-red-Robin goes bob-bob-bobbin' along...."

    Come on, that's pretty bad...
  • [cite]Posted By: Sparrows Lane Lion[/cite] Would this be your highest away turnout if you were given more tickets?

Without question. Quite a turnaround though seeing as i remember seeing numerous posts on Millwall sites about how we wouldn't even fill the upper tier.
  • Millwall have the legend/logo...'No one likes us we don't care."....However, if you have the temerity to actually tell them that, they invariably get most upset!
  • [cite]Posted By: Sparrows Lane Lion[/cite] Would this be your highest away turnout if you were given more tickets?

Just another one of our sell out away games this season - as compared to your first sell out home game since the last century.

I'm sure we'd sell more if we were given more - there's at least three people in the 'Millwall ticket' thread that need them. ;-)
