I imagine of all the pain, injury and physical and mental illness he has endured during his career, this could turn out to be the most traumatic as his wife and children were affected at a time when he was most vulnerable.
A truly horrific crime against a national sporting hero. I sincerely hope they catch those involved and that they are handed out the toughest justice available to the judge.
Cavendish has become the first ever British winner of the Milano - Torino
Oldest race in the world!!
Part of its going be down to Morkov (His lead out man), but its an impressive sprint from Cavendish given the distance he still has to go on his own - A individual time trial, and then two flat stages in Denmark to start the Tour de France this year. Dont think we'll have to wait long for Stage win number 35.

How can you do that to a National Hero just after he's been released from hospital suffering from some serious injuries?
Let's hope they catch the feckers and quickly.
On a bright note I saw him announce on Facebook that he's got a contract with QuickStep for next year now.
Special mention to the most recent photo that KentOnline could find of him
Already has two Stages wins this year
