Evita is a dynamic pricing thing, when it went on sale they were cheaper by quite a lot. I regret not getting sorted back when they went on sale, a lesson learned (again). Musicals aren't usually super loud, lots of reports from Evita that it's concert level.
Just seen Evita and wow hands down the best show in the West end and show of the year. That was insane on another level. Rachel Zegler has the best voice I've ever heard. And will easily win every theatre award going!
How much did you pay for your ticket, if you don’t mind me asking, I’ve seen some going for over £300, and thought that was a bit pricey.
I went last Thursday 31st and paid £99.50 each for two tickets (£199 total no fees booked direct with LW theatre) in the stalls row S central seats so perfect for what is a fabulous show. Very different to the original but well worth the price of the tickets which I had booked in early April.

I haven’t seen the film, although my son reckons it’s on one of the streaming channels, so might give that a watch.
Anyone seen the film, and the play, and which do you think is better?
Operation Mincemeat is brilliant. Got £25 tickets through a ballot thingy they do on their website.
…..saw it last week on the same, great £25 lottery deal. Found the first half a little odd and nearly left at half time. I think it was only the story that kept us there. Much improved 2nd half though. The cast were fantastic though. Very well choreographed but, for us, didn’t live up to the hype. 6/10.
Just booked for Evita at The Palladium for 2 September - my birthday present from Mrs M (although my birthday is the end of May!). Hotel and a meal before included - she's a keeper.
By far my favourite ALW/TR musical.
Wow, just wow! The best theatre experience of my life bar none.
Rachel Zegler was just sensational as Eva Peron and the balcony scene is creative genius. The choreography was awesome but the staging was very simple - in fact no real staging at all with it more like a rock show than a musical (and very loud!) but all the more focus on the music which is by far my favourite ALW/TR score.
I can recommend "The Choir of Man" at the Arts Theater, just off St Martins Lane a few weeks back. I wasn't expecting much but Its not a bad couple of hours. Even has a bar on stage where you buy a pint pre-show.

Lenny Henry was absolutely fantastic. Brilliant show. We absolutely loved it.

Well worth waiting for though, great show.
