I think he'll do well for them.
Agree, lower expectations, smaller club, less pressure.

I think I can spot potential in a player -even if they don't shine. I'm slightly worried Chrissy can't tbh.

Put your name forward as Chief Scout, Muttley. Apparently Vetere is over-rated anyway.

is every opinion other than yours wrong then?

I'll be more than happy if we get a decent RB in- but no logic in not doing that business first IMO.

No one can have a wrong opinion Muttley; not you, not me. It's just an opinion, not necessarily related to fact. I'm sure you'll agree.

It's just your "I'm slightly worried Chrissy can't tbh." comment ........... implying that Powell and the management team (for all their many years of combined professional experience), can't spot potential in a player, where you apparently can.

I heard we will be getting our money back for Francis so I would be more
than happy with that. Chris Solly has developed well last season so I
believe he should be more involved this season and I rate him twice more
    than I do Francis.

How do you know they havent got someone lined up? Even if they havent the season is a month away.

We have a chance to get rid, so we should.

I don't care if we haven't got a replacement immediately lined up or not - you don't pass up an opportunity like this!

I think he's perhaps a confidence player.mi was sure he'd be good for us, shows how much I know. He just seemed so slow to react and turn. Outpaced easily too, always looked like he could put in more effort.

The offer might not be around in a week or when we get the replacement in, and I doubt that we'll be offered money for Francis. The alternative is to keep him and let him go on a free at the end of the season. This is the best solution all round. We get some cash for a very average player, Francis gets to play at a club that might actually appreciate him, and we get the chance to lose a weak player and sign a better one. Everyone wins.

Really ? Thanks for that, otherwise I'd have had to read back through numerous posts to have found that out.

Asked rob elliott yesterday if Daily was coming back and he said that he wasn't, also for anyone who cares, I asked the goalkeeper coach if he knew whether we were signing anyone else and he said two more

If Mccormack and francis leave then I think we need a striker, right back, Andersen and a left winger.
