Sure we've lost Palmer and that is a kick in the teeth but don't make it even harder for the Academy by dropping out of VG. If anyone can afford it please stick with it.
I can think of a few million reasons when you consider the fees made from selling the likes of Parker, Jenkinson, Bowyer, Minto, Watson, Elliott and Shelvey and also the pleasure we've had watching those players and many more and, as Henry mentions, those we are yet to see.
I see it as a charitable donation and one where you get to see where your money goes on a weekly basis.
