Francis - 6.5 - a decent enough game from him, the odd comedy moment as usual
Doherty - 7 - solid
Mambo - 7 - even more solid
Evina - 7.5 - quick, skilful and will be pushing Wiggins soon enough
Green - 8 - dangerous throughout, although he's not going to give the right back much protection
Hughes - 7 - honest and hardworking
Pritchard - 8.5 - MOTM, pace, skill, relentless work - was he really signed from the non-league?
Bover - 7.5 - very good debut, bit lightweight at times but caused them problems when on the ball
Benson - 8 - looked sharp, ahead of Euell in my view
Euell -7.5 - good to have him back, nicely taken goal
Wagstaff - 8 - this boy is lightning, relentlessly hardworking, skillful and Reading couldn't handle him0 -
Hamer 7 - Made a few good saves. No mistakes made. Good debut against his former club.Francis 8 - Him and Green worked well together. Definitely wants to prove a point!Doherty 7 - Comfortable before going off. Worked well with Mambo.Mambo 8 - Also wants to prove a point. Dealt with Manset well and he controlled the defence.Evina 7.5 - He will give Wiggins a run for his money. Great vision and picked out some love passes.Green 8.5 - Almost scored from 2 corners.. and he takes them! Great delivery and a good full debut.Hughes 6.5 - Shakey. Wayward passes and headers. Good leader though but bench please.Pritchard 8.5 - Showed that he can hack the football league. Deserves a place on the bench. MOMBover 7 - Not a lot to do but he caused problems when he had the ball. Not ready for the league yet though.Benson 7.5 - Definitely out to prove a point. If he stayed on I reckon he could of got another. He's a poacher.Euell 7.5 - should have scored first half. Took his time getting into the game but in the second half he was alive! Hamer - 7.5; a couple of class saves that boosts him up from a 7. Good shift.
Francis - 7; still looks tangibly a member from last season's team, but played quite well. Needs more passion!
Doherty - 7; got rid safely. Quiet but did enough.
Mambo - 8.5 and my MOM. Absolute beast. Headed everything that moved and had Manset in his pocket. Really good performance.
Evina - 7.5; enterprising runs and decent enough defending. Excitingly quick.
Green - 8; certainly will be a good player. A lot of ability and he showed it at times.
Hughes - 7; captain 110% but let's face it, he's awful technically!
Pritchard - 8; he's energetic and intelligent. Promising, and he's a more than useful option.
Bover - 7.5; not ready physically but he's a good player. Intelligence and flair abundant.
Benson - 7.5 on the basis he scored. Good link-up play, too.
Euell - 7.5; same as Benno, really.
Wagstaff - 7.5; industrious as always. He's an excellent athlete and that came out today.

Mambo - 7 - done well. no sign of nerves that have crept in in previous appearances. he's a big lad and could be a beast of a CB. work needed on his passing at times thoughEvina - 7.5 - looked very good going forward and rreasonably solid in defence. be interesting to see how he performs against better opposition.Green - 8.5 - looked lively throught, he's delivery will be a real asset this season. may be pushing waggy for that starting birth on sat.Hughes - 6 - worked hard enough but his passing at time was poor and put team mates under pressure.Pritchard - 8.5 - didn't look out of place at all. his passing was always spot on and he worked hard all game. if he keeps this up he could be a gem of signing.Bover - 7 - looked very good on the ball. got caught in possession a couple of times, but when he had the ball you thought he could create something.Benson - 8 - i really like benno. he works so hard, and if he's given service he will score!! i hope he doesn't leaveEuell -7 - took his goal well and later on in the game he showed some good touches. however he looked slightly off the pace in the first halfWagstaff - 7 - worked hard and caused problem, as ever. maybe we don't need to sign a young quick striker, we could have one already.Morrision - 6 - not really enough time to make a big impressionSolly - 6 - as above0 -

Francis - 6.5 Does something good then something woeful

Mambo - 8 Very impressive, he needs more game time and if he carries on, could be an option.
Evina - 7.5 Really think he'll be pushing Wiggins for a place
Green - 8.5 So exciting to watch. Won't always go right but some of his passing had me dribbling!
Hughes - 7 Solid enough but nearly dropped a clanger that could have cost us.
Pritchard - 8.5 Little man, big heart and a decent footballer. Impressive game.
Bover - 6.5 Did ok but didn't have time he wanted on the ball. Loan move would be ideal.
Benson - 7.5 Thought he did well and was a handful when on.
Euell - 7 Worked hard but thought tonight showed how at best he'll be a sub. Love the guy but we need better.
Wagstaff - 8 Was excellent off the bench and the cross for second goal was sublime.

Some people are giving Hughes a higher rating than Francis. I don't see how Francis was worse than Hughes. I thought Hughes was shocking.0

Hamer 7 - Made a couple of decent saves - good debut - need to see more as slight doubt of his command of box.Francis 8 - Very good game and won a few headers too!!! Not Solley's fault he is short but Francis does add something to the defence IMO. Did himself no harm at all.Doherty 8 -Will head balls clear all day long -composed and comfortableMambo 8.5 - Thought he was bloody excellent -keep this up and he will be knocking on the door.Evina 7 - Not sure defensively but good going forwards -very good.Green 8.5 - Great delivery, abilty and competes. Imagine the team we would have put out if we made eleven changes last season!!! This 'reserve' team would be play off standard in League one. Pritchard a massive find- massive - Mambo showing that he might just be ready -terrific game - Francis was excellent, Euell looked a class apart, Green was quality and Hamewr looks a decent keeper. Deserved to win by a bigger margin.

Mambo 8 Won just about everything thrown at him

Pritchard 8.5 A superb all round performance and was unlucky not to score

I hold my hand up to that comment I made about him being shocking. A bit harsh to be fair. Hamer 8 - Some good saves, played well.
Francis 8 - Very good. Got forward well and cleared the ball from under pressure.
Doherty 7 - Did quite well. Looked shaky at the beginning but became better throughout.
Mambo 8 - Was fantastic in the air and commanding too.
Evina 7.5 - Fast and showed he can run with the ball well. He has a lot of power and some of his cross-field delivery was excellent.
Green 8 - Was a constant threat and showed good delivery, but some of his play was quite wayward and he wanders around the pitch, completely exposing the RB.
Hughes 4 - Absolutely awful. Tried a headed back-pass from nearly the half-way line that nearly cost us a goal, and constantly messed up. Works hard, but that's not good enough IMO.
Pritchard 9 - Fantastic. That lob was superb and was very unlucky not to score from it. Commands well and looks very composed.
Bover 7 - Showed flair and loads of skill, but faded quite a lot and didn't contribute too much. Wins loads of fouls and was unlucky not to score though.
Benson 9 - I thought he was excellent before he went off. Scored, chased, tackled, showed a good first touch and his link-up play was impressive. Showed be on the bench ahead of Euell every day of the week.
Euell 7 - Was quite off the pace and made errors. Glad to see him score, but he should've buried the one-on-one and wasn't very impressive.
Wagstaff 7.5 - Made an instant impact with his pace and work-rate. His back-heels were brilliant (although completely accidental), but became a bit of a spectator in parts.
