Reams reckons we had a bid accepted but Lowe has opted to remain at Bury as he doesn't want to uproot his family. Says too we are after Barnard on loan with a view to a perm deal in Jan and Benno having medical at Bradford

    Benno having a medical is the worst kept secret in football, but what's the latest on Lee Barnard's legal problems? IIRC he was arrested a while back on assault charges. If this is no longer an issue he'd be a great signing.

    Barnard could be good for us, he's a cockney and a consistent scorer but has a reputation as being difficult to manage. IF he comes here on a perm deal, as a replacement for Benson, he'd be ideal I think......  I do not like loan deals. if he belongs here let him sign a contract in the next 48 hours

    he scored saturday and lost .......so he score on  Monday when they are 4-0 down  they look a poor side
