Circumstances dictate If we were in birms possy and with palace not being a new ground of sorts to them and having played in europa shit we wouldn't have brought half that to birmingham Did you see our away attendances in our last season in the chumpionship ??? We averaged smaller than everyone, yes despite 18k home attendances all those small clubs managed to muster more than us , including palace and doncaster Tuesday before christmas that is a decent turnout , especially with them not walking the league You take games and circumstances on their merit I mean just over a thousand at walsall (not quite the 1300 you suggested) is hardly decent whilst walking the league , I mean wednesday sold 3k there for boxing day straight away but I'm sure all the trains are direct and only two stops for them for the short trip Where as we'll take around that for the combined trips to yeovil and orient
Agree they are all knobs but even with smaller crowds it sounds louder on tv than we were against hudds We need to be more vocal ourselves before we start slating others ! Even the Nigel's !

A great first post a great three points for you last night.

Yes your right it was my first post but im not one of those knobs I have been a covered end member for over 30 years and only trying to say that we might have bigger crowds but do we create a more vocal atmosphere, in my opinion, No I hope I'm not upsetting people with my first post, I'm only saying as I see/hear it
That was a crap atmosphere last night apart from about 10 school kids jumping about and singing into a deserted stand where the noise carries! Other than that you could hear a pin drop all game!

Well if you are an addick welcome to CL, if you upset less than 50% of the people most of the time you will be doing all right, its about opinions fellah and there will always be someone on here with a different one to whatever you write. I thought the Hudds game was really loud from my seat in the NE quad, admit some home games like saturday can sound flat but I would never, ever wish to see anything like the pathetic ultra thing, its wrong and embarrasing and I ashamed that some people would consider Palarse a London club with such childish behaviour....their gimps..
I have a season ticket in N upper j block and was at the hudds game and when you sit in that area it can be loud but watching the game later, other than a a few loud songs when we scored and near the end there was not much else and that was with over 18000 A lot of people are coming on here comparing our higher crowds with our two rivals and I'm just asking the question we do get bigger gates but are we more vocal I don't think we are. I am offended that some of you think I'm one of them and hope I've convinced you I'm one of your own and hope to be proved wrong with the vocal noise at the valley COYR
The list of embarrassing 'crimes' committed by Crystal Palace and their fans are acknowledged by all London clubs and we are right to set aside our own individual rivalries to single Palace out as a special case. They are ridiculous, they know deep down they are ridiculous and they also know that this Ultras thing is actually going to hilight it even more to the rest of the normal football supporting world. There is no hiding or spinning their way out of this one. It's hideously cringeworthy and the police escorted ultra walk from a pub to their own stadium against Millwall is the icing on the fairy cake. Ridiculous. Case closed.

You obviously have a point. The vocal support against Oldham on Saturday was pathetic. There must be at a guess, a minimum of 500 standing & there was hardly a peep all game. Great numbers but non existant vocals.
I think one of the issues is the drum. We can't seem to sing unless he drums and he drums so fast you can't keep up in any case.
12,057 !!!! That club is a complete joke. And oooohaah take alook at Birmingham's away support and then compare it to little old league one Charlton.
What did Brum take last night? Fella from work is a brummie and went last night. He was expecting around 500 Birmingham max. I thought that would be poor for them, but when you think about it, it's expected.
What with Europa league trips, the week leading up to Xmas, people out of work, coaches left at 2pm so people need to book a day off work, getting back late, Palace charge £30 or something....it's hardly worth going to that dump.

What have the Romans ever done for us huh?

And if you know your history ...
;-)
Pretty good I'd say. Brum did bring 1200 to us in a Carling Cup match in November 2005...we had just over 6k ourselves!!
Palace's away following to us on NYE will be interesting.
