Not blaming Dailly saying it was a yellow and bailey put his pen on the moon.
Llera played well that night - better than sodje who was poor at swindon. Bailey, I think, lost the ball in midfield which caused Llera to be exposed

always liked him as a bloke and thought that night he took one for the team knowing he'd miss the final

Apparently Llera is "big and strong and fast". Some saying he's a liability but further on in the thread he's a class act!

Think it's fair to say that Mig blows hot and cold.
Seen him have some great games for us and also some absolute mares..........will those of us present 'ever' forget the disaster that was Colchester away.............never seen such a nightmare of a performance from one of ours in my life. I was so embarrassed both for him and the club.

"His 60/70 yard punts up field do tend to be a lot more accurate than our other central defenders, he doe seem to have the ability to find his own men,ala the first goal at Scunthorpe.

Quite an important attribute the way we play. "

I quite liked the above quote on Owlstalk about Llera - at least someone is realistic about the Wendies style of play - just waiting to see their reaction when the vast majority of those punts start missing by 20 to 30 yards. I also note that quite a lot of the Wendies are looking for a creative midfield player _ I wonder how long it will be before they work out that problem?

Somebody has been brave enough to suggest dropping semedo as his performances have dropped below his early season standards...............though he quickly backtracked after being shot down by those followers of mugson & claimed that he meant that it might show him that no-one has a right to automatic selection.
  • When he was at Charlton he was a League 1 squad player of limited ability. We have moved on since those days and now have 3 centre backs a class or 2 above him. He gave everything whilst at Charlton but is a limited player. If Sheffield Wednesday think he is good enough for them, it says little about their ambitions

Them lot wouldn't know a decent player if they saw one.

Must admit, I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Beevers at charlton. Not saying he'd break into the starting 11 but would be a decent squad player at the least. Funny how his career has nose-dived (like Morrison) since smegson arrived.
  • The only good thing the gangly spank ever did was equalise in the 90th min with a cheeky lob against Swindon (i think) when we got reduced to 9 before half time? Otherwise, i used to predict how many times he'd try to pick out waggy with a 70 yard diagonal ball...1 of the 1000 actually worked i reckon!
As the thread says - sour grapes. Talking about

Basically what the wendies are trying to say is he is better at hoofing than the other donkey jones is
  • He is the perfect player for them as can hoof it forward quite well for this level and good in the air from set pieces, but he needs to accept that some teams are trying to play a game of football so had no need for his services.

His weaknesses were his lack of pace and sometimes lack of positional sense although the first weakness made the second more of an issue. He was good on the ball and his passes were above the usual centre half fare. No reason for us to bemoan him - he always gave his best for us and any bitterness was because he didn't want to leave. Maybe some of his comments betray a lack of class but no reason for us to do the same.

There was a thread on here in which the majority of fans thought catastro-flop Francis was a better bet thanr our home grown player of the year Chris Solly. People also heralded the signing of ponderous flops, likes of Abbott and Doc. Football fans are idiots. Get over it.

I know. Never said we don't have fans that are just as bad.

I will never forget this interview. Obviously sour that he wasn't good enough to make it here. Tonight makes it so so sweet!

  • Always thought 'El Donko' looked more like Bambi on Ice than a professional centre-half and I haven't changed my views.

Another reason to give the Wendy fans on here a bit of stick...

Mind you most on here will still clap him when he comes to the valley...

He will always be clapped by me - he didn't want to leave and was forced out to a degree, so I understand a little bitterness. Chronic lack of pace was his achilles heel and Powell knew it and knows it judging from last night. But I always felt he gave his all for us ad will never forget that he got that equaliser in the Swindon game - will never forget he cost us a play off final place with his lack of pace against Swindon too - but that is what you get with him - not his fault he is too slow.

  • The fact we have morrison instead of llera now I couldnt be happier with that.
  • Should have walked last night for the professional foul on Church when he was clean through. Ref bottled it!

perhaps the ref saw it was Church and decided it wasn't denying a goalscoring opportunity ;-)

Got told he punched morrison during the game last night and obviously got away with it. Morro had a massive shiner too from best.

Reading that makes me feel even more proud of them. Top man, Morro. Those two aren't fit to tie your bootlaces.

  • Awful player. Absolutely astounded that he is still making a living at a championship side.

There was hardly any contact in that challenge, would have been a very harsh red card.

My first thought was it was a send off but the replay showed there was not much there.
