Now @shirty5 you must have been on one of the trains that Norman and I were stewards on. We even had a WPC charlton supporter off duty ,steward helping us out. Bloody long walk back to the Station.
Read on a Facebook group a comment by a Bristol City fan that reckoned there were loads of Millwall and West Ham amongst our numbers, didn't go myself but knew he was talking bollocks.

That was said at the time and I'm sure got referenced in one of the proliferation of hooligan porn books of the late '90s.
I remember after the game a big set, tall drunken Addick was swearing away at the Bristol City fans until he saw my 6 year old daughter staring up at him. As soon as he saw her he apologised to her for his bad language. That memory always makes me smile.
Was at both games. Remember after the final whistle walking through the park as my car was parked on the other side. About 40-50 City fans were on either side of the path that led through it. I thought this was it but they didn't bother taking any notice of me.
The replay was great as for one bizarre reason the jimmy seed stand had Charlton fans in the top half of it.
