Update is weather the same today and rep says will be tomorrow. Seeing as we are only here for 10 days, it looks like no tan, which don't really Bother me but missus is horrified.Looks like I will have to pay for her to go away for a week with the kids in the summer whilst I work. Shopping beckons today bloody great. The only day we had of good weather was the day after we got here but spent half of that moving rooms as we booked 2 as my teenage daughter brought a friend with her and the Original rooms were miles apart.
Seems as if Europes weather is having a knock on effect in North Africa Haven't seen any sun for the last day and a half in Egypt with forcast Shite for forseeable future.
Went Sharm the end of Jan/start of Feb back in 2008 and was freezing too. Windy and on our first day had the first rain for 6 months. Missus was not happy having to go out and buy fleeces and a jacket as most of the bars etc were open air.
spent ages in sharm working used to get strange looks at airport in winter as ill be in the only 1 at gatwick wainting for flight with a fleece n long trousers! the winds cold in jan and feb used to like middle of march as wheather started to change.
Snowing here mate again , how's the wife and kids mate , just make the most of it I only have til march to take anytime off, and Scarlett needs to have an op on her kidney so no little treat for us as she won't be able to travel,
Then its no holiday until October due to the Olympics
I would give my right bollok for rain in Egypt than face that m25 at 3 am after the snow tonight
