  • The massive fans in one half of Sheffield (hopefully)
  • Anti Football teams like Oldham ,Stevenage and Tranmere who have parked the Bus at the Valley.
  • IF we go up

    The JPT

The first round of the FA Cup

    Or the second round...

    Oldham at home

    Tranmere at home

Lack of media coverage (even compared to the little we had before)

    Carling Cup Early round

    Meaningless JPT matches

    IF we go up.....
  • Not having international breaks - struggled to book holidays, etc over the last 3 seasons.

Less than 100 people sitting in the Jimmy Seed.

    No proper derby games.

Playing Dagenham & Redbridge, Rochdale, Exeter in the league and helpful journos reminding us that last time we met them, in the FA Cup, they were 4/5 divisions below us. Then losing to them.

Being a division below not one but two local footballing minnows. Form is temporary, class is permanent.
  • Been mentioned already....but not playing at Stevenage...here's hoping they don't get promoted with us!!
  • 1. Been mentioned already but God awful northern cloggers- Oldham, Rochdale, Tranmere, Bury- have I left anyone out?
    2. Swathes of empty seats at the Valley particularly in midweek
    3. Seeing our players kicked in the air and getting more bookings than the opposition somehow
    4. Lee Hughes
    5. Only having three TV games a season- I know we are usually jinxed on Sky but the coverage is sooo much better.

Things I will miss about League One
    1. Football for a Fiver
    2. Winning every week (albeit only this season)
    3. Singing we are top of the league for almost the entire season

You might still see Lee Hughes judging by the way Notts County are going. And, who's to say we won't be singing 'Top of the League' - at least, they want to. I'm sure there'll be some different cloggers heading to The Valley.
  • 2. Swathes of empty seats at the Valley particularly in midweek
I think they'll still be there.
  • Won't miss not having any rivals to compete with in the league. Infact, I can't wait to have Palace and Millwall in the same division next year! Four big derby matches!

I won't miss the awful/often absent media coverage of the league.

Grounds that don't have a roof on the away terrace (Yeovil)

  • People moaning about our own support

    JPT

Having to answer 'Rochdale' when someone asks who we've got at the weekend

Lack of goal replay highlights on FLS
  • Hearing a dozen or so away fans sing "your not famous any more"

    The word "blip"
  • small reports in papers
    Rochdale
    empty stands
  • having to struggle quite so hard to find match reports in the papers
    the Johnstone's bloody paint trophy
    playing Franchise FC (I hope)
away support the size of Rochdale
being two divisions away from the Premiership.
  • JPT.
    FA Cup 1st round.
20 seconds on the Football League Show.
Teams like Walsall and Oldham bringing 100 fans on a Saturday.
The empty seats at home, not that there won't be any IF we go up but they'll be less.
  • northern teams.

  • Things I won't miss
    This northern based league,
Shit away support from rochdale etc
Teams parking the bus at the valley
Waiting up till 1 for the highlights on FLS!

    Thing's I will miss,
    getting away with u16 ticket's
    bournemouth away.

  • People asking "What division are you in now?" and having to explain how it all went wrong and we ended up in Div 3...
  • I won't miss having a great performance and win during an outstanding season and hearing 'yeah, but what league are you in? Exactly' when I try and enjoy it
  • That paint cup thing.
Only getting a 50 word report in the Sunday papers.
People asking me "what division are you in now ?"
Pointless stadium rules (no drink cartons inside at Yeovil - yet you could throw one from the car park and hit a player without even buying a ticket)
20 seconds on the BBC highlights show.

  • The shocking referees.
  • Not bothered, as at all levels unless you've got an interesting team it's a grind paying to watch under-talented shite. From 2005-2009 it was woeful, 2009-2010 was quite good with one of the best atmos for Swindon I've experienced for years.

But I do agree with FOD, referees are more likely to be shocking.
  • All of the above
  • Drawing 1-1 with Tranmere.
  • JPT,

Having to wait an 40 minutes to see 11 seconds highlights of a 4-0 win on the football league show. Now I can watch the 11 seconds within 20 mins.
  • Having to explain to people who don't follow football closely that League 1 is actually the third division of English football.
  • 1. Shit Grounds
    2. Shit Teams
    3. Shit Opposing Players
    4. Shit Opposing Support
    5. JPT
  • edited March 2012
The phrases "tinpot club"; "pisspoor / Sunday league" and "do a job at this level".
  • OohAah moaning about our sh!t away support.

    Oh, wait a minute .......
