    I think he has been necessary in the side, does all the donkey work allowing Hollands and others to go about creating chances. He has put a bit of toughness in the side which was lacking with Stephens/Pritchard in there but was a very stupid thing to do last week. At least he was man enough to come out and admit it so fair play to him for that.

    I don't think he really allows others to create chances really... And he admitted it was stupid? If so good on the guy and little more respect earnt for him ... still don't want him back in the team though ;)

    Russell is a midfield hod carrier, he has skills bettern than Hughes but has missed games due to his disciplinarey record thjat Hughes has not. Next season we will need an option such as Russell in the squad, he has given CP the opportunity to consider other players for next season and if he is deemed beter than other options once they have been considered then I'd go with it
