how many proper pitch invasions have you seen at the valley? exactly no need to panic
  • The Organiser; I think you fail to understand that some fans want to see the players parade around the pitch carrying their toddlers & their wags following behind!

Go to about 2.38, watch the guy behind the Sheff Wed player heading it in
would have been great if it had reached him, what's with the old bill having a shave while they are trying to clear the pitch?

A spontaneous pitch invasion is great like the one at Carlisle at the weekend and in 85 and, to an extent, the one against Wimbledon at 'S******t' in 85. The Championship thing with the fireworks and we are the champions in 2000 was a bit contrived but thats just the way it is because there was no anxiety and tension followed by an explosion of joy and relief. We're up so that joy is never going to be the same but having said that, can somebody tell me how i get from the north upper to the pitch? Will the gates be open?

Not easy wearing invasion slippers, foam hands, a Llera helmut and a jet pack. I could hover down but if things get a bit hillsborough, i don't want to have wasted my fuel.

Just spoke to Ketmans dad Rick, he said they've had another letter sent from the FA and they've been warned that they will be asking for the names of anymore old blokes ringing up rambling on about around the world tours and pitch invasions and the will be fined and banned.

    You've been warned.

So was the little hoodie who gave the stewards the runaround? Someone must know him? Very funny, wish the palyers had taken him with them and told the stewards not to worry. Hardly as massive security breach.

I'm really not a killjoy, but the mere fact the club had to have so many stewards is not good, as it is money being spent on something other than the players. It won't be very funny if the club is fined for the idiot running on the pitch; much better for the club to spend money on strengthening the squad for next season.

    you are a killjoy
  • We get 5 or 6 million more in TV Revenue next season, and we have rich backers.. few extra quid to stop the FA jumping on our backs regarding a big pitch invasion was worth it.. the one boy that run on was a good laugh, just added to a fantastic day. No harm done.

100 extra stewards at £6 an hour for two hours = £1,200. Who we gonna sign for that?

don't worry you are not the only one thinking like that, it's just that we are in the minority.
