All proper Charlton have not only been to Wolves, but have been there midweek AND for a Sunday match that was live on the telly.

At least they won't have 'supersub' John Richards playing who got a hat trick when we went up there in the cup with a few thousand fans

virtually finished Matt Holmes career and almost cost him his leg ... he sued Muscat and won a lot of money.. Muscat was a dirty bastard

I had the misfortune to work in W'hampton for a while .. if there is a better example of 'town planners' making a total fuck up of a once nice town, I have yet to visit it ..

Loved going to Wolves, standing outside 'The Goalposts' being a little nervous when a group of their people ran over to a Charlton coach and threw pint glasses and God knows what else at it before coming back with a cheery 'Alright lads?'
    A must.

Nice new extension to the stand. Finished just in time for them to leave it empty next season.

Not been for around 10 years, but it was a quality stadium back then

Do remeber going with the school after a match up there and we had a granny sat behind us saying how she wanted to 'wash' Rufus Brevett in a bowl of TCP !! lovely people

    About '95?
  • On a more serious note. That is the standard we need to achieve next season. Some way short at the moment IMHO.

Playing a team with the likes of fetcher, Doyle and Johnson in it really brings home the need to strengthen in key positions.
