I nearly wet myself when i just saw the local news (calendar) and the massive fans were standing in the rain outisde the town hall waiting for the team to be presented to the fans. An achievement it may be, but worth a town hall event i'm not sure.

I've just seen that and I was yelling at the bird on the screen when she was on about them presenting thechampionship trophy to the Massives. They only gave em a flipping cup! Unbelievable! The championship trophy is safely tucked away in OUR cabinet you MUPPET and they won feck all!
And if that crowd in the square was 20000 we must have had over 100k in the Valley on Saturday!0 -

they are not celebrating finishing 2nd, simply getting out of this league. i would be outside Woolwich town hall if we had decided to do the same.

Yeah apparently it's a runners up, promotion cup. It looked like the FA Cup, a bit sad really for coming second. Semedo and their chairman were presented with it by the Lord Mayor and they held it up for the crowd to go a bit giddy.Semedo and the chairman holding the 'promotion cup' aloft.

Seriously, its actually embarassing seeing how much some Charlton fans go on about Wednesday.
GET A LIFE - if we had come second, we would all be going loopy.
This 1st place finish is fantastic but it seems to be turning some of our lot into arrogant idiots.
We wouldn't get 20k in the town centre, because we don't have the same fanbase as Wednesday, not even close.
