Ok , but there can't be that much difference in size looking at the following pictures, although that is the Championship play-off trophy. Our handles are gold instead of silver , but apart from that I can't see too much difference.
That and the fact the manager on the left looks great with a trophy and the other looks like an extra from Labyrinth!0 -

thats the attitude which leads to us having shite away support. Leicester is one hour away on the train, Notts Forest about 1 hour 45 hardly far. ipswich also takes a mammoth hour!0 -

For many Charlton supporters, it can take an hour or longer just to get from their homes to The Valley!0 -

I was just stating the fact that these are the games that are close and will inevitably have the most people wanting to go. Sometimes they are the best games but northern games can be just as good as they feel like more of an event and you are out for most of the day, unlike the close ones where you can walk out the door at 2 and be back by 6.
These are the fixtures that everybody will look for on the 18th. Not Ipswich.

Exactly. To get from Kent to all these places means a possible nightmare all the way around the M25 before you can even think about being anywhere near Leicester, Peterborough or Ipswich.

Feel for SheffU - they were the best team to play at Valley this season - it all imploded with Evans.

Just got back from what was one of the worst games of football it's ever been my privilige to watch. No skill, no shots on target, no tactics, just 'let's not lose' mentality. And £64 for the pleasure.
Upset a few Udders fans by moaning about the poor quality - particularly from Rhodes and Novak who were awful and when things can't get worse they bring on Alan 'barn door' Lee, probably the worst professional forward ever to play. United were just an embarssement - no attempts in 120 minutes says it all.
I was pissing myself during the penalties - one scored from the first six - it just looked like neither of them wanted to go up.
However, it was bloody hot there today and I'd love to know what the pitch temp was. The ref allowed two drinks breaks during the game - very sensible imho. Felt sorry for the United fans behind the goal who had the sun beating directly down on them for the whole match. I bet there were a few cases of sunstroke there.

Took my 2 young lads to this so they could see Wembley. Some unpleasant Blades singing about Evans on Wembley Way, so went in Town end where the atmosphere was decent.
First half my youngest fell asleep! It picked up in second half, but the gulf in quality between what was on show and what has been at the Valley this season was striking. Novak stood out, as did Quinn, but the rest just looked either poor or too nervous for large parts.
Walking up the steps to get the trophy always works well - wish they'd figured out a way to do that in the West stand at the Valley v Pools.

I knew it would be negative- it was clear Wilson felt he had to not lose following the loss of his strikers -remember, not so long ago, United were the most free scoring team in the country. They are now where we were after failling to get back up in the first season - it will be hard to keep the team together as clubs will have their eye on their better players.0

Huddersfield will sell rhodes for around 7 million and that will give them a decent budget to rebuild the side. I can see all three promoted teams staying up comfortably. Sheff u will need to find a striker from somewhere if they want to go up next year.0
