First season of The Fall was fantastic. Second season started odd well, but went downhill halfway through. Third series was shite. Dornan still watchable though - and Gillian Anderson is still absolutely fucking gorgeous
Late to the party but just started watching The Fall. The opening sequence with Gillian Anderson *ahem* grabbed my attention and good so far after the first 3 episode
Watched it when first came out. Would happily rewatch. For those who haven't seen it I'm not giving anything away as we know who the rapist/murderer is from the from the start- but the storyline/acting is so clever as when he's not carrying our his attacks- he is an extremely likeable character. You would never imagine he could be responsible for such awful crimes.
Am 3 episodes into Season 2 of Doom Patrol, having binge watched Season 1. Probably the maddest, but equally most engaging ‘super hero’ show I have watched. Some episodes are quite touching, while you get at least one WTAF moment per episode. Alan Tudyk is a bit too hammy for my liking towards the end of season 1, but acting and action overall is great. Hope a third season is commissioned.
Also recently finished Season 2 of Umbrella Academy on Netflix. Enjoyed it, but a bit too much mirroring re doomsday scenario and hope they move on from thar in S3...
Not 'new' as such but Channel 4 re-running Shameless from the very first episode - that's some dark funny telly. Paul Abbott busting taboos right from the off.

Shameless was magnificent, went on a couple of years too long but was awesome
There is a Frank in locals across the land and multiple Franks in every single weatherspoons

Excellent. I didnt know they are all on Netflix now as well. Been years since ive watched it so looking forward to starting again. Some great characters in it. The firestarter with tourrettes, forget his name, is brilliant.
daily repeat on BBC 4 @ 19.30.. 'The Joy of Painting' .. Bob Ross is an unsung genius EDIT .. should be 'was' an unsung genius, as alas he died years ago
He made it look ridiculously easy....even his 'happy little mistakes' (Which Ironically was my mum's nickname for me).
He is a bit of a one trick pony though.....always mountains, trees and a river. I'm waiting for him to do some proper 80's art.......a massive cock n balls - complete with pubes and a few jizz spurts from the old Japs.
Young Wallander, a short six part series just up on Netflix. Absolutely excellent and stara Adam Poulson who was the main actor in the excellent 2 series, Before We Die.
It's in English.
For those who have never seen it all series of The Bridge is available on I player. The absolute creme de la creme of Nordic Noir. Anyone who takes my advice won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the Bridge recommendation.... Just watched season 1... Wow. That Saga girl is hypnotic to watch and plays the role really well.
I'll give you a series to watch... Black Spot.. A Belgium thriller.

Waited for The Boys season two and was about to watch an episode a night when Amazon have decided to launch the first three episodes then make it weekly, WTF - Saying that Ep 3 is one of the most F'd up/brilliant pieces of TV I have seen in a long long while.
same here, it's too bitty, unstructured, rushed and I've read the book and still have trouble in following the plot .. it's a big book and perhaps there is too much to cram into 4 episodes .. and what about Glenister's syrup ? .. make up dept., get a grip .. incidentally I noticed the last episode was directed by Sue Tully, the one time East Enders single mum ((:>)

Loved S1 of the Boys, 2 episodes into S2 and I can't get into it at all.
Just started watching Start Up on Prime, a series about a digital currency a la Bitcoin. Martin Freeman playing a good part and Ron Perlman has entered S2. Really enjoying it after a relatively slow start, would probably recommend.
