Cannot be 100 percent sure but I think the Olympic parking regulations do not come into affect till later this week. PLEASE CHECK PARKING RESTRICTIONS THOUGH
I would suggest you mention you are with the Charlton supporters trust meeting, in case anyone asks for money, but I would buy a drink/or two as a gesture.
I have blagged my way into the liberal club before now, but then I said I was with Charlton life, and the doormen parted like the Red Sea........
Probably not a good idea to wear your labour party badge as well...........

In wellington gardens the restrictions are up to 6.30 anyway......
sorry about the photo on its side......

I thought any restrictions ended at 7pm (from the parking thread).

Well the sign says 6.30...... but knowing Greenwich council there is always room for being awkward.
I thought if the sign stated the time if a ticket was issued it would be issued in error and therefore not count, or have they changed that as well.
In any case you still have half an hour before the meeting k.o.s to speak.

    Tonights meeting:

Hi this will primarily be about agreeing some aims and objectives, and then trying to build a steering group of around 6 or so. In my view this is the most important part of this stage after agreeing basic aims etc. and is borne out by various conversations I've had including with Supporters Direct.

The 6 or so will need to be committed, have some time to spare, and keep in regularly communication with myself and others on the exec, and be willing and able to travel to meetings.

I will also touch on our communications policy and give a brief progress report to start the meeting.

I cannot say this more strongly, we need to put words into actions to make this happen, so if you are wavering please bear this in mind.

    Thanks

    BR

You don't pay the £2 during the week so no worries there, dont think the parking restrictions come into force until Thursday/Friday but double check if driving.

Thought tonight's meeting was really productive, hopefully we're starting to come up with something that most of our fans think is really important. Minutes/details to be with you all shortly for debate and advice.

Wish the con club & south eatern trains had air conditioning though !

Any idea when the next meeting is likely to be?

With what's occuring at the club it's becoming time that everyone stops bickering on the internet and gets organised.

It's 99% likely a meeting will be on a Thursday. Sooner rather than later is the hope. Things complicated by a venue with easy access and parking during Olympic season, and timing may depend on doing a bit more research and a bit of paperwork methinks. All welcome I'm sure, and falconwood I echo your sentiment.

    Hi all,

Just to mention that I'm in Eltham 6-13 August for the Olympics, so if there's a meet then I'll try my best to be there.
