Couldn't see another thread on this...

GB's Gemma Gibbons, who was brought up in Charlton, has just won her second bout of the day (in the final second) and is through to the quarter-finals.

    If she doesn't manage to make the final, she will fight one of the repechage winners for bronze.

    I was thinking the same but there are a lot of dull sports in the Olympics.
    Fencing....now that is dull.....but if it was a Brit going for gold then I think I could force myself to watch it.
  • Shooting, i went on saturday. The men's 10m pistol qualifiers, my stepdaughter fell asleep and who could blame her. Dull.

    It's easy. You have to throw your opponent to the ground & jump on top of them :-)
