    I thought Carlton Cole would be a top player, quality signing and finally solve the problem of our non-striking strikers (albeit on loan for a year) around that time. But then I didn't realise he had a non-effort clause in his contract with us, relieving him of any obligation to move for any ball played more than 1.5 yards away from him.

    It was one yard - the 1.5 yard deal was In his Villa one

    JFH was big (well fat really) and he had a long name

    He should win something - His own weight in pies perhaps
