Doncaster Rovers are giving a trial to midfielder Sammy Clingan.
The experienced 28 year old has been without a club since being released by Coventry City at the end of last season.
The Northern Ireland international has been training with the club in the last week and Rovers boss Dean Saunders is looking at the player with a view to offering the player a deal at the Keepmoat.
Clingan, who has made 33 appearances for his country has played for Chesterfield, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest and Coventry City in almost 300 appearances during his career.
