Couldn't agree more. Whilst working in insurance claims we changed "The customer is always right" to "The customer is always a moron".
In answer to the initial question. I am hardly mentally disabled but I, more often than not, will pass on reading the text in such an article and the graphic at the bottom tells me pretty much all I need to know once I've read the title of the article. Without the 10,000 key it would be merely a comparison. The numbers are needed, in my opinion.
