Hollands joins Swindon on loan...

Sort of agree with OohAah there.
Part of the spine of the team last year, indespensible even.
Like his attitude on the park.
I'd really like to see him step up, but struggling a bit this season.

Pritchard has been immense - especially against Cardiff - and has more energy than anyone else.
Wilson is turning out to be a complete steal and was MOM in the 2 games prior to his injury

A half fit Hollands is better than Wilson and Pritchard (although he has played better lately
I think SCP knows best, and I happen to agree with him that Wilson and Pritchard are better at the moment. In fact I would go as far to say that Pritchard has been one of the main factors in our turn around in fortunes.
Hollands has been playing too many balls backwards and goes missing for long periods this season. Still deserves respect for the achievements of last year - as do all who played last year.

I`m not comparing CM and RB/RMWhat I`m saying is if Pritchard and Wilson can get in the team then a half fit Hollands should be able too. Both of those player are put in the team even though other players are far better'. CP Has he`s favorites and as the saying goes, If your face fits.RugbyAddick said:
I strongly disagree. A fully fit Hollands is better than a fully fit Pritchard (if he's not paired with Hollands IMO. And you can't compare a CM to a RB/RM.gazza said:0 -

Great last year.
Not so great this year.
We've moved on.0 -
I like him did he not have the nerve in the big toe removed and no preseason wouldn't write him off just yet. Go get playing danny0
-
Beat me to it. Yes he had an operation on his big toe in the summer & has now got no feeling in it. I'm not sure if this is permanent. I'm confident that this has affected his game detrimentally.CAFCBourne said:I like him did he not have the nerve in the big toe removed and no preseason wouldn't write him off just yet. He may have struggled a bit this season for sure but the same could be said for a few players & only now are coming to grips with the 2nd Division. With his op & lack of pre season, perhaps a stint at a decent 3rd div team with slightly less pressure will get him back to 100% fitness & confidence wise. Think he's even mentioned the lack of feeling in his toe & admitted that he deserved to be dropped.0

He did.0

Was @gazza involved in the famous "Powell ain't got a clue" thread at all?0
-
I thought it was pretty obvious why Danny Hollands was going out on loan.....
It was just too confusing for CP having too many Danny's in the team.0 -
Should do well , PDC like chris powell is a good manager and will get the best out of him0
-
Wonder if this means another player in? Frimpong?0
-
Hid more than any player i had ever seen against watford
Needs to get back to the danny hollands of last year this could do him good
Or di canio might kick his arse if he hides like that again0 -
Hid more than any player ever I'm not having that with some of the dross we've had over the last 6 years0
-
So Eggert should be a pretty good player then, if he has taken Hollands place in the squad.0
-
I have never seen a charlton player hide so obviously in all the times i have gone
I have seen a lot worse players than him and a lot worse performances but he literally passed the ball on instantly and moved closer to opposition players so he couldnt receive a pass0 -
Or it's to help pay for the players we've got in on loan :-)StubleyAddick said:Wonder if this means another player in? Frimpong?

I warned you all on Hollands a year ago.
Multiple births = knackered !
Good luck Danny, hope you get game time and rediscover your excellent form from last season.0 -

Can't be a much longer drive to Swindon than it is to SE90 -
Real players player who gives 100% every game I have seen him in (and yes i did see him against Watford too). Just not sure he has the mobility and speed for the Championship. either way this loan move will hopefully give him playing time and that has to be a good thing. Good luck Danny.0

Not the end of his CAFC career hopefully, but if he does well for Swindon they mightend up buying him - how much left on his contract? Stephens almost off to Villa and who knows if they'll be back in for him and Hollands possibly on his way out - funny old game.0
-
Not surprised tbh. Was very good last season but doesn't look mobile enough for The Championship. Was there talk of Frimpong from Arsenal ? Could this bring that closer or is that complete nonsense ?0
