Saw him at Wembley in 85 and a couple of times here in USA.....while I am not the biggest Springsteen fan the man is amazing live and gives100% every time........
Am off there on Saturday. Hope you all enjoy tonight
Just back home and can say that Bruce and the E Street Band were incredible. Three and a quarter hours of great music and showmanship. You are in for a treat on Saturday.
Managed to get a couple of tickets yesterday for the Saturday’s Wembley gig. I can’t say that I’m a fan of Bruce but the feedback on here suggests it’s worth a punt. Also my mate from Milan is over for the gig and is a big fan (he was at the recent gig in Stockholm).

Be interesting (and surprising) to see if that still holds true at around 11.00pm tonight.
I don’t think many on here will not agree with my opinion but I can’t say that i enjoyed the gig as I hardly know the songs (apart from the Born to Run and Born in the USA) nor his music (a few guitar solos by BS and Lofgren were good). If he cut out the long repetition of most of the choruses then the gig would have been 2 hours. I must admit I can understand his appeal and he does put in a shift and a half. I was on the pitch standing with fans belting out all the lyrics which almost drowned out BS and I thought the sound was that good, although the screens were perfect. And then it took ages getting out of the stadium and then to the station and train. I didn’t get to Baker Street until gone midnight.
Was there last night. This guy really puts a shift in and for A man in his 70s his voice was superb. He is truly a legend. He is truly the boss of live performance. The other thing that came out was his humanity and heart felt message about human relationships. I thought the tribute to Clarence was touching. I can’t see him coming back ever again.

He has concerts booked in Europe next year. Let’s hope he makes it.

His Cardiff gig at the start of the 24 European tour was amazing, roof was closed and the sound was so good. I went to Bergen to see him too, it rained the entire time but he was on great form again. Hopefully he will do a few additional gigs in Europe next year in addition to the re scheduled ones.
