All the girls would think I was sexy and cerebral and I'd spend my time at the most exclusive of society functions where people would literally be queueing up to hear my latest ponderings on all subjects from art to the Charlton line-up, as I spoke the anticipation would be palpable as the audience hung on my every word.
Easy, Gotta be a Top DJ thousands of people in one venue hanging on your every tune, play two hours get £8,000 then fug off somewhere else same night & do the same again. Plus there are the obvious perks of the job which I will not elaborate on I'll let you use your own imagination.
Ooohh, or a musketeer - that'd be cool. Or a muskehound - better still (I'd be Dogtanian). Might struggle making a living as a muskehound these days though - don't think there's a huge call for them anymore (which is a real shame).

Dogtanian, lol, i used to love that programme. It was my fave.
The bizarre thing is AFKA that the place i am living is far more "British" than most of South London - Muliculturism hasnt really reached this corner of Canada yet.
My football team is run by a Palace fan, the bloke next door has an AVFC number plate & likes a Kipper Tie and i'm going for a beer later down The Rose & Crown!!
The things i miss most apart from f&F are decent curries (one benefit of multiculturism), Radio 5 in my car (ae Jane Garvey & Peter Allen still on), watching live football in the evenings & free banking - still, 2 weeks of that coming up :-)
Better go, it's the end of the working day here - you lot will all be fast asleep & snoring by now.
Oakster...... Thats what I miss here in Australia...... the curries!!!! Mate I would literally kill for a decent madras.. it kills me.... these indian guys here wouldnt know a good curry if a stuffed parata kissed them on the lips.....
Are you nuts? It'd be like working in a chocolate factory - the novelty would wear off quite quickly, and then the last thing you want to do with your free time is be surrounded with what you've spent all day at work looking at.
Me, I want to be famous for being a millionaire philanthropist. Or even better, just be a millionaire philanthropist, without having to be famous.

As long as the field had no cows, sheep or horses.

How would you know? : )
I'd quite like to be the person that finds the cure for cancer. Looking unlikely at the moment.
Tell me about it, it's a daily struggle keeping them all happy.....

how have you adapted to Canadian life ? do you see yourself as 'one of them' yet ?
Derek Underwood would be my choice followed by Jim Laker probably.
Agree entirely. Although in the modern game of covered wickets, who knows.
