Mens Hair Dye - Would You / Do You Use It?

Ha, ha, good thread! I'm in my mid 40's now and have always had a bit of a high forehead shall we say (slaphead would be less kind). Even as a kid - think Ant or Dec.

Kinda got used to that as what was there was fairly thick and I wasn't going grey like my mates were and best of all my brother (what a sweet day that was spotting those in his Barnet!).

Until now that is. Every week that passes results in another few interlopers being spotted.

Sadly I couldn't imagine ever asking the missus to keep an eye on my roots myself so it'll be the old salt n' pepper look in the very near future for me BUT if 'men' can use hair straighteners without the walk of shame these days, then, in answer to the original question why the heck not!
  • I tried it once and looked so ridiculous that for 2 weeks I wouldn't leave home without wearing a hat

What even in church Lincs? :-)
    I got a papal dispensation
Typical it's not what you know it's who you know :-)
I know IL Papa so well that I call him Ol Slappyhead

    What Riscardo said!
  • I have a friend that uses something, he's admitted it. He is late 40s so it would not have been unreasonable for him to go grey, but he couldn't cope with it.

My wife has been dying grey roots since her 20s. I know it's different for women, but I think I would have been tempted to use dye if I had been grey in my 20s.

However I'm 41 now and only have a few grey hairs at my temples, but having almost no hair on the top of my head it is a cruel trick to give me hair that doesn't go grey and then make it all fall out before I was 30.
  • My hair is naturally dark brown but I add grey dye all over to make me look distinguished.
    I wish.
Fifty Shades of Grey more like!!
