I think Bayern is an easy option for him, biggest, richest club, best team, should win the league easily. Only way i see him being under any pressure there is if Heynckes wins the CL this season.
What will he have proved to people if he goes there and wins a couple of titles? That's probably the minimum expected of him.
Can't help but feel he wants the United job, which obviously would be a bit awkward if he was Chelsea boss and nigh on impossible if he was City boss. So off he pops to Germany for a couple of seasons, wins a few more trophies then he'll be here when Fergie finally decides to call it a day.
Im sure that is how the British media will see/spin it.
They'll definitely spin it that way.
Some people seem to be questioning his motives as to why he has gone there, but fail to realize that somebody with his credentials having managed arguably the greatest team of all time - its never going to be a straight forward path afterwards!
Bundesliga is probably the second strongest league in Europe at the moment behind La Liga. All the German sides have done well in European competition this season.

Yeah. Bit of a wake up call maybe for all those that rant and rave about the premier league being the best in the world.
Guardiola is no fool, he knows that Chelsea is a graveyard and that while John "Captain, Leader, Legend" Terry is around the place that any manager is simply running a fools errand - albeit for a very nice wage packet.
His move to Bayern must also mean that Man City are planning to stick with Mancini, hard to see who else Man City can bring in unless they go for Mourinho.
I bet every top manager in Europe wishes that Fergie would set a retirement date and stick to it!

He'd rather go to Bayern than Chelsea given Barca's history with the latter.
Don't think he fancied the bundesliga just yet!
