If ex youth players who never played for us are counted, then I've seen Semi Ajayi play for Rotherham and WBA3
-
Allan Simonsen.
Saw him play for Vejle against my hometown side OB Odense in the late 80s.
Rob Lee
Lee Bowyer
(only started following Charlton in ‘99)3 -

Vejle is approx 30 mins drive from Legoland (Billund).0 -
Saw Harry Arter play several times for Staines and Woking but never for us apart from reserves. It was immediately obvious that we'd dropped a clanger in letting him go.
Good shout for a season loan.0 -

No need to apologise. A man a well travelled as you will be confused at times. You are the male version of Judith Chalmers.ElfsborgAddick said:

I dont think I've ever seen an ex-Charrlton player play for someone else but not us. Been racking my brains. There must be at least one, but cant think of any.
Defoe doesnt really count as he never actually played a first team game for us.3 -
Boat. The good old days where you had to catch a ferry from Zealand to Funen. Remember spending a lot of time playing the old arcade game ‘1942’ on the ferry.ElfsborgAddick said:

Tough one. We’ve had so many loan players (with low appearances) since we dropped out the Prem, that the chances are that I have missed one and then seen them play for someone else.
It’s more likely to be a player that had already played for us in the late 70s, that played against us in the early 80s.

That is why I bumped this.EastTerrace said:Tough one. We’ve had so many loan players (with low appearances) since we dropped out the Prem, that the chances are that I have missed one and then seen them play for someone else.

I saw Joe Ledley against us for both Cardiff and Palace in the League Cup. I even saw him play for Celtic against Raith Rovers ( Matthews, Kayal and Watt also featured) but I missed his 45 minutes at the Riverside.0 -
Paul Walsh is the most obvious one for me. As has been rightfully pointed out during the Pardew/Parkinson days we had so many players on loan that I can't remember who I saw and who I hadn't.
One strange one, although not answering the question, I have no memory of ever watching Darren Pratley play for anyone either against us or on TV.0 -
I assure you - you missed nothingRichard J said:

Michael Smith will be another one. Made 2 cup appearances for us (both of which I missed) then would have played against us in L11
-
Good shout, this . I always thought we missed out on something with him but actually he always looked immobilekillerandflash said:Michael Smith will be another one. Made 2 cup appearances for us (both of which I missed) then would have played against us in L10 -
