George Boyd's eyesight to blame.

  • Well the owners managed to totally destroy their season in a very short space of time. Impressive.
  • McLeish won 1 game in 7 and lost at home to Oldham in the cup.

Forest fans are probably delighted he's gone.
  • The new circus in town.
  • Curbs for Forest. LOCKED ON FACT DONE DEAL
  • Truly awful decision to bring him in in the first place. Really no idea how or why they justified sacking O Driscoll to bring this clown in.

Appleton is rowing down the Trent as we speak.
  • Bet O'Driscoll is cracking up
  • Crazy goings on but could be a real boost losing a manager like Mcleish, if they actually back the next manager.

  • Adkins??

    must be
  • Would be a fantastic club for Curbishley IMO.
  • Can't be Adkins he wears glasses. ;)
  • Why they ever appointed him in the first place I will never know, The bloke has left behind a trail of destruction whereever he has been.Rangers,Scotland,Birmingham,Villa. Forest must be bricking it now.

    that's a point
  • He did great at Rangers and Scotland
  • Pearce, surely, to buy the owners some breathing-space. Worked for us! Mind you, Powell's a much better manager. (Which was the better left-back, I leave it up to you impartial souls ;))
  • It's surely not a question as to who would be good for Forest but who would be prepared to work under the current regime.
  • Powell locked on for this one! My myopic mate Blind Pugh reckons he saw him up at the Forest training ground
  • Roy Keane.
Out of the frying pan into the fire.

  • O'Driscoll should never have been sacked. Hadnt they beat Leeds 4-2 when he got the elbow?
  • It is a job curbs could do standing on his head

    I hope he gets it
  • Clough - Nigel so he can follow in his fathers footsteps even more!
  • Curbs not even on the poll on the Sky Sports site:

Who should be the next Nottingham Forest manager?

    Nigel Adkins
    Roy Keane
    Owen Coyle
    Roberto Di Matteo
    Simon Grayson
    Paolo Di Canio
    Mark Hughes
    Karl Robinson
    Other

Agreed. I don't think Rangers were ever out of the top 2.
I thought he'd fail, but would last longer than that.

Keeping Rangers in the top two is hardly difficult though is it.

    Must admit, thats true.
Never did like him - surely a bit of leverage has been applied here in order to get Adkins in.
