this is the worst Aussie test batting line up I have ever seen and I saw my first televised series in 1961 .. absolutely awful .. Smith at number 6 .. ridiculous

number 3 .. he is surely better than Cowan .. the Aussies have made the classic mistake in letting all their top players from the mid 2000s grow old together and not gradually bringing in replacements .. 'mateship' taken a few steps too far

Thinking about it, when KP came over to this country to play cricket, he was primarily an off spinner, and became a pretty good batsman :-)
