Super_horns Am I right in thinking the loop-hole regarding all the Udenese players will be closed for next season?

If so, Zola has one hell of a re-building job on his hands this summer......................

Would depend on who we can sign on a pernament basis.

A few could well (as Forestieri has..) do which would help keep the squad at a heathly level.

Ofcourse we'd have to buy other players too.

They are still under an embargo - it lasts until the end of the transfer window in Auguat as far as I know.

Its a bit mis-leading though as we can but with any deal approved by the FA/FL so really its not an embargo at all.

    From BBC:

Under the terms of the embargo, Watford can still sign players with prior permission from league officials.

The embargo will last until the end of the summer transfer window on 31 August.

Strange I know (and maybe pointless)

    That does seem daft!

It does seem daft, but i guess the FL/FA can use discretion and stop them being overly active in the market... Does seem daft though, a black and white/clear approach would be better.

I must say though, I haven't been Warfords greatest fan this year - felt like you were let down by the attitude of some of your players as well as Zola after the Forestieri incident..

That said, I think you could well grab a place through the play offs and I wish you the best. You've got some good talent there and if they can clean their act up a bit...

I don't think even if we went up the Pozzos would want to be silly and spend millions anyway..maybe if the loan situation does alter that could change.
