Well done PP and Bradford, superb season and well deserved. I would not bet against them pushing for a place in the Championship next season, great support decent stadium, good side.
"We decided that we wanted to run with a smaller squad, but with better quality players," Parkinson explained.
"I felt last year that through the sheer number of players at the club there wasn't the spirit required to get the club to where it needs to be.
"We drew up a shortlist of players that we wanted based on character, athleticism and how close they lived to the ground because I think that's important.
"We met with lots of players over the summer and some of them were bigger names than the ones we brought in but I didn't feel they wanted to be here for the right reason.
"Our aim was to put together a group of players that if we progress as a club, and hopefully we will this season, they can play in a higher division. The last thing you want is to get promoted and have to make wholesale changes."
Disappointed for the Cobblers, but well deserved for Bradford and pleased their splendid season has ended with success. Only consolation - eleven Germans walked into my mates bar where I was watching to see the climax of the Bundesliga season at half time and I was happy for him to turn the tellies over to accommodate them and make a few quid himself as well...

Bradford are going up.
Watch them do well again next season.
They said on the radio the whole squad cost £7,500.
Boothroyd showed his limitations i hope he has saved some of his wages over the years as a performance like that he will never get out of division 4
Congrats, Parky and your lads !!
Always rated Saint Parky of Hoofball...
Well done
Only one team in it.
You feel Bradford are the sort of team that can really progress with their large support relative to others at their level.
Well done Parky.
