And some claiming his name can't be mentioned, that some non existent group are annoyed when it is and he wasn't a director of another league club for many years.1 -

Born in Ilford so could of ended up West Ham. Moved to Peckham when i was 7 so could of ended up Millwall. My first football match i went to was at Selhurst 1987 as a kid so could of ended up Palace. Luckily i was dragged along to Charlton v Man Utd and fell in love with a shit football team with no ground of their own. It made me sad9

To finish the story sorry. I met up with my dad when i was 16 i had not seen him for 10yrs as my mum booted him. So after an awkward 1st meeting football came up and it turned out my dad was Charlton. When i told him i had been going to watch them at selhurst and supporting them for a few years it was such a weird moment. My mum had never mentioned anything about my dad in terms of football. Anyway he told me stories of going to games away such as Chelsea and how many uncles and cousins i had that went to games. Fate or coincidence i never know. It cant be genetic ive told myself thats stupid. It is just so much of a coincidence i never got my head around it.28

(and if he'll turn out as fast as his conception, we've got one hell of a striker in the making)6 -

We have not lost at home in the league since my before my son (October). Not counting Donny as it wasnt technically a league game and we won on pens anyway
He has already been to 2 games at 7.5 months old - Proper Charlton.

Just discovered another famous fan: General Dwight Eisenhower.
The man who would become the 34th President of the United States attended the Football League War Cup (South) between Charlton and Chelsea, which Charlton won 3-1.
"After presenting Charlton with the League South Cup at Wembley in April 1944, Ike told reporters, 'I started cheering for the blues, but when I saw the reds were winning, well I had to go on cheering for them.'"
Proper Charlton.20
