A mate of mine has just reminded me how 'successful' Billy Bonds was down there. Hated from the off, he made the fatal mistake of turning up to training wearing a West Ham shirt on one occasion which apparently lost him the dressing room as well as any remaining support he might have had at the club.
I wouldn't class that as a mistake, i'd say it was suicidal. The bloke can't have had much of a brain to turn up wearing the shirt of their most hated rivals.

Can't believe that personally. He understood the culture of Millwall quite well.I know for a fact know that his late father in law followed the Spanners because I worked with someone who used to attend matches with him at the old Toolbox.Bonds was a Gent I can't believe he would be that disrespectful.
Indeed my ex colleague told me a moving story about how Bonds thanked him and his mates at the funeral for going to games with him.I also remember when he took the job he also spoke of how his family had traditional loyalties in South London which split between Charlton and Millwall.
I also think in retrospect Bonds was a good manager for them.He signed Tim Cahill and Neil Harris and put the foundations down for the team which got promoted from what is now League One and even made the Championship play offs a couple of years later.
The Millwall forum contrasts sharply with our highly intelligent and eloquent site. On theirs, I swear I can hear the sound of Neanderthal grunts and knuckles being dragged along the floor....
I tell you what his mummy aint gunna be very happy when she finds out her little soldier has nicked her best bed sheet to write swears on, no interweb for him rest of week, dirty little wan*er!
Being from Glasgow, I'm always a bit mystified as to why people can't tell by look and accent. You'd think if your man at Milwall Life is that troubled by these things that he might be able to guess based on his name.
Unfortunately think it'll be a good appointment but it'll be nice to see the Toolbox in meltdown for a couple of months at least. Earlier we play them in the season, the better IMO.

He's becoming quite popular.
Thread title: "Lomas = Vermin C*nt"
Oh yeah we got 2 and look what they did
I wonder if they realised Mick McCarthy was one?
Sounds a plausible angle for the News Shopper hardman.
