    and frankly many teams are in a similar position to ours - if a team stops performing every time the board do less than than throw money at a side then more than 50% of teams in the league would stop playing.

    Correct, and as far as I'm aware despite the off-field nonsense the players are still being played so no excuses for less than 100%

    Anyone at the ICT friendly can't be at all surprised by the 3 league "performances" so far.

    Didn't think we could get much worse than last week but it sounds like it is.

    Until we are in a position to address the midfield we are going to struggle.

    Seconded, whatever happens backstage is not helping anyone but CP has to be at least in part responsible if the team is not at least making an effort. 3 games, 0 effort, now matter how much you think of the guy that is unacceptable.

    Not throw money but it would be reasonable of them to expect a contract that runs more than 10 months. Imagine being part of a team that won the league with 101 points followed by 9th in a higher league next season and still not getting a new contract let alone a salary hike. Hardly very motivating...

    Just to be aware the changes on offer are two players dropped for two performances so far, and two kids.

    Like it not the two are linked and we are now seeing the consequences of not refreshing the squad.

    Powell wanted and we bid for Quinn and Aluko last summer. We couldn't get either so both went to Hull and Hull went up.

    This summer we missed out on Judge.

    Still, this games not up yet.
