@Razil is taking a wee break from the comms front so i thought I'd regale you with the latest supporters trust goings on.
We'll be continuing our semi regur match day presence outside the Valley on Saturday, however this time our fans interaction centre will be outside the club shop instead of the Covered End, which is approximately 17 yards closer to the boardroom, so in your face everyone who doubted us.
Additionally, and in a quite serious lapse in judgment, I've been granted permission from the exec to have a stall at the Lib, who have kindly agreed to let us set up a stall there for this Saturday's game. Hopefully the weather will be ok, in which case we're hoping to be in the front car park so come say "hi" on your way to the game.
At both our points of presence you will be able to join the trust, sign the ACV petition and grab a bag of 200 flyers advertising the Wigan game which you can hand out in your local neighbourhood. Helping to make the football for a fiver/soccer for a sixer game a success with a decent crowd is something tangible that all of us can get involved in if we have the time to spare. Interestingly the majority of our fans who've signed up to leaflet so far have selected a train station as their venue of choice to distribute, make of that what you will !
There's a short, suggestively titled, piece with some further info on the Wigan game and how you can help below. Feedback on all our activities is welcomed either here or at one of our stalls on Saturday.
Pleased to add that the club are now promoting our efforts to promote the game on the O/S and Twitter...It has been a long journey to construct this initiative but great to see bags of 250 flyers being given out to fans the other night.
