Not a great league and with momentum like they have it's possible.

I went to Welling last night for only the 2nd time this season and was surprised the way the team played considering the Manager and his assistant were playing. All seemed very very timid.

Antoine Semenyo is one to watch, looked a class above.

    https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/semenyo-goes-pro-and-heads-to-bath/

    They were dire last night
  • Welling lose to Bath... cant get into the Play Offs

Welling could have played all night and not scored.
That was word for word what I said to my son as we were walking out.

Lawrie Wilson featuring at right back at the moment. Hope they do it for Lawrie and for the sake of my 92 club especially with Chesterfield gone.

Guess Dartford supporters will have a keen interest on how many Havant score tonight (currently 1-0 up), 3-0 or better and they go top.
  • And Thurrock get one back....
  • Now 2-1 Havant.
Managed to get on at H/T at 4/6
They was 1/7 prior to KO
Seeing that Thurrock played Saturday, Monday and now tonight, couldn't see them keeping Havant out for 90 mins, especially with nothing to play for

It's frustrating that Havant playing a knackered Thurrock team, having to cram in games at the end of the season, could affect the title. A big win and they'll have better GD going into Saturday

If Darts go up I understand that it's probable that a few Darts players who don't want to play National League next season (due to the travelling and training demands - they have good careers away from football etc) will end up at Wings - if that happens then I can see Wings challenging for the Natl South title next season

A shame in some ways, especially as Dartford will probably struggle to stay in the National League and may come down again - I assume there are no plans to go professional?

    Exactly what I feared...

Dartford need a 3 goal swing. Big ask. As it stands Dartford will play either Chelmsford or Braintree although its so tight its likely to change. Good news for Chelmsford is they love beating Dartford

Couldnt have gone much worse for Darts last night really - hey ho - that 1-0 loss to lowly Poole back in March at home might come back to bite them on the arse

Would be nice to see them rewarded for the investments off the pitch tbh
  • I think Hemel Hemstead may be worth a punt in the play offs.
looked strong over the past couple of months.

Hendon made the Isthmian Premier play offs last night with a last minute win at Leathehead. Probably going to be away to Folkestone but a last day twist could mean at home to Folkestone or away to Dulwich (at Tooting).

H&W could slip up on Saturday, not that Concord's form supports that proposition. Bognor can certainly expect to be under relentless attack, sadly some of Dartford's finishing against Bath last Saturday was ropy.
The Darts are sure to struggle in the conference next season but that's not reason enough to quail at the prospect of winning the division and auto promotion.
Theirs is a professional set up, but no realistic possibility of the squad going fulltime.
Since reincarnation in 1992, and especially since returning home to Dartford in 2006, living strictly within their means, never risking the club's financial health, has seen them progress steadily up to the top of 'Tier 6'. Yoyoing between 6 and 5 is probably their level on crowds of about 1000. We'd all love to stay at the top table of non-league football and lock horns routinely with Gravesend, Bromley, Maidstone and Dover but not at the expense of the club's future existence.
Archer, Skinner and co on Dartford's board deserve great credit for stewarding the club so diligently over the years. Would that more individuals running football clubs demonstrated a tenth of their skill and integrity. That means you roly, you lying, cancerous, old cur.

Game of the day on Saturday despite me being an ebbsfleet fan... Is Woking v Dover... 4 months ago i saw Woking v Dagenham and Redbridge and Woking were about 5th after they won... They must win Saturday.

Working concede in injury time to go 2 1 down. Barrow also losing so a win would have seen them safe.

That’s tough for Dartord after having been top for so long.

Yeah, feel for them, especially as it was still kind of in their hands as H&W only won by 1 goal. Honestly thought they’d take Bognor to the cleaners.
