Scrooged got to be watched today.

Is the original Wily Wonka film on?

It's not on at all over the Christmas or new year period .Shame cos my kids love that film .
The 2005 remake is on FIVE Star at 3pm on the 27th. Not a patch on the Gene Wilder version.
    Thanks

  • Work better let me out early if Toy Story is on
  • 12:35am BBC2-Witchfinder General, Vincent Price at his meanest, filmed around Lavenham in Suffolk. Seems its only a 15 now but scared the xxxx out of me in the early 60's.

Never seen it. I should cos I love James Stewart . It's a wonderful life and rear window are two of my favourite films.
  • Harvey is a lovely film, one that's really hard to dislike. Plus yep, James Stewart is a legend. Despite being a real Scrooge I'll be tempted to take It's a Wonderful Life off the shelf tomorrow.

10.25 pm Channel 4 - NEVER LET ME GO (2010 ) ( My pick of the day )

I was just talking about this film with my parents today.I watched it a year ago and it was the saddest film I'd ever seen. Not sure about watching it during the festive period though.Just too depressing.

Great Escape was on Saturday. And I cant believe you missed Harvey. If you fail to mention Zulu (if/when its on) there will be a motion put forward for a vote of no confidence.
  • Zulu is on - Friday 3rd
