    Control of the club is exercised by the directors and management, the owners control the directors and management. Until directors and management reflect the owner's wishes and a new business plan is in place, the owners have not taken control.

    This surely has to be a RD appointment so we can expect something quite different from what we might expect. Still no idea who though. Can't see it being a women in the role of Sports Director. CEO maybe.

    I would say this is RD's first major input into the club so it will interesting to see what the outcome is. I cannot give him credit for the dome on the pitch as it had to be done to avoid being fined by the Football League.

    Probably saving it to announce tomorrow, kind of makes sense, what's the point of putting news like this on the web on a Friday when we have a game the next day. She will probably be on the pitch wearing a shiny new scarf while the upper North sing "do you take it up the arse" :-)
